BENJAMIN ROSE CEO ELECTED CHAIR OF NATIONAL AGING BOARD

Richard Browdie, President and CEO of the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging in Cleveland, Ohio, has been elected to a three-year term as chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Council on Aging, a nonprofit service and advocacy organization headquartered in Washington, DC.

Browdie has served on the NCOA board since 2008. He replaces Msgr. Charles Fahey of Fordham University as chair.

Browdie joined Benjamin Rose as president and CEO in 2002. Prior to that he served as Secretary for Aging for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and was Executive Director of the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging from 1993-1995.
