Who provides Care Consultation?

Care Consultation is provided by the Benjamin Rose Institute (BRI). Founded in 1908 as a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization, BRI is a national leader in service, research and advocacy for older adults and families. BRI is headquartered in Cleveland , Ohio.

BRI is comprised of three institutes:

The Eldercare Services Institute (ESI) delivers a range of home and community services, including Care Consultation . Other ESI services are home care, social work, mental health and adult day services.

The Margaret Blenkner Research Institute (MBRI) conducts applied aging research, specializing in family caregiving, services and interventions, long-term care, program evaluation, and active aging. MBRI research led to the development of Care Consultation .

The Katz Policy Institute (KPI) identifies and influences public policies that impact older adults and their caregivers KPI is named in honor of Sidney Katz, MD, BRI's Distinguished Scholar, who developed the Katz Index of Activities of Daily Living with colleagues at the Benjamin Rose Hospital in the late 1950s.
