Mr. Benjamin Rose founded our organization through a bequest from his will so that his wealth would serve the people of Cleveland for years to come. We're not sure if he knew that it would last 100 years, but we're certain he'd be proud. As generous as Mr. Rose was, it was not his gift alone that has sustained the organization through a century of service. Many donors have also demonstrated foresight and compassion to provide for our mission through their estate planning.
There are many ways to create a planned gift including wills, trusts, life insurance, named funds, and annuities. We appreciate and recognize planned gifts of any dollar amount. Donors may also choose to remain anonymous. Every donor who provides a gift for Benjamin Rose in his or her estate plans is honored as a member of our Legacy Society. We host an annual luncheon each summer to honor our Legacy Society members.
Like Mr. Rose and others, you can make a difference in the lives of people in your community for years to come through a planned gift.
