The Medicare and Benefit Enrollment Center at the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging helps older populations to understand and access the benefits available from more than 1,300 Federal, State and Local public benefit programs in addition to helping Medicare beneficiaries to understand the Medicare part D program.

The Medicare and Benefit Enrollment Center:

• Submits online applications for the Low Income Subsidy (LIS)
• Assists with learning about and enrolling in appropriate Medicare Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs)
• Helps beneficiaries resolve Medicare Part D problems
• Assists with review of current PDP and in selecting a different plan for the next calendar year
• Provides information in selection of and enrollment in the most cost-effective plan available

Through the Benefit Enrollment Center and in partnership with the Aging & Disability Resource Network, the Call Center…

•  Completes benefit checkup questionnaires

•  Submits online applications, where applicable

•  Assists with the completion of benefit applications for mailings

•  Helps callers to resolve problems with benefit applications, delays in processing applications and using benefits

•  Provides information on varies benefit programs
