The Institute is named in honor of BRI's Distinguished Scholar Sidney Katz, MD. Ultimately, the KPI will promote collaborative work among BRI's programs and with partner organizations; inform the development of BRI's public policy positions; and contribute to public discourse and education on policy issues related to quality of life for older adults.
