The Benjamin Rose Partial Hospitalization Program -- Mental Health Innovations -- is an intensive, CARF-certified treatment service for older adults with clinically indicated mental health needs. It consists of high level face-to-face mental health interventions in a group setting. Skilled mental health professionals provide therapeutic interventions and address the individualized needs of the individuals served.
Purpose
To help older adults who have severe mental disabilities to stabilize, increase, and/or sustain the highest level of functioning, promote movement to the least restrictive level of care, and live as independently as possible at home and in the community.
Outcome
To help individuals develop the capacity to continue to work towards an improved quality of life with the support of an appropriate level of care.
Services
We offer intensive therapeutic services for older adults with severe mental disabilities, including:
Assessment
Group therapeutic sessions on the topics of mental illness, coping skills, medication management, interpersonal and social competency, conflict resolution, and emotion/behavior management.
Individual counseling
Social activities outside core therapy hours.
