Our Senior Companions work hard all year to ensure that their home-bound peers are well-cared for, safe and socially engaged. We're planning a well-deserved trip for our Companions to Amish country this fall.

In order to make the trip affordable, the Senior Companion Program is conducting two small fund raisers to defray the cost of the trip.

Macy's Shop For the Cause

The Macy’s Shop For the Cause event was created in 2006 to assist non-profit organizations nationwide to raise funds for their organizations. From now till Friday August 26, 2011, you can purchase a $5 shopping pass for exclusive savings in every Macy’s store and online at macys.com on Saturday, August 27, 2011. The Senior Companion Program will be able to keep 100% of the proceeds from the ticket sales. Plus, you can enter to win a $500.00 Macy’s Gift Card!

T-Shirts

We also have T-Shirts available. The SCP is selling our newest heather gray t-shirts with the new Senior Corps logo on the sleeve and the new BRI logo on the back. The T-Shirts are $6.00, that’s right 6 bucks! It is for a great cause. . . . . . T-shirts are available on a first come first served basis. Order now via e-mail to lowens@benrose.org
