Rose on the Go: Genre Journeys Concert Series – Classical
Join Benjamin Rose for a concert series in collaboration with The Music Settlement, designed to bring audiences closer to the heart of live music. Each intimate performance features a different genre—classical, jazz, and pop/rock—with talented artists sharing both their music and the stories behind the genre. Experience an inspiring celebration of sound, storytelling, and community!
Limited free parking is available off the lot on Mistletoe Drive, with paid street parking nearby. Light refreshments will be provided!

Performers
Dianna White-Gould
Dianna White-Gould is an active soloist, accompanist and educator. She was born into a musical family. Her father was a cellist with The Cleveland Orchestra and her mother, a composer and pianist. Ms. White-Gould has appeared as the featured soloist with The Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. She has a strong interest in new music and music of African American composers and has given world premieres by composers Dolores White, H. Leslie Adams, Hale Smith, and George Walker.
Khari Joyner
Acclaimed musician and arts ambassador Khari Joyner is one of the leading cellists of his generation. Dubbed by the New York Classical Review as one of the most exciting young musicians on the classical scene, he has a following nationally and abroad, and has made a number of accomplishments including teaching residencies and concert series for over one thousand students in Beijing, Shanghai, Japan, Vancouver, The Netherlands, and across the United States. A passionate advocate for the music of today, his most accomplishments include performing the world premiere of MacArthur Genius Tyshawn Sorey’s Cycles of My Being, the New York Premiere of Kaija Saariaho’s cello concerto Notes on Light, and the world premiere of Carman Moore’s MADIBA for cello and orchestra.
