Day of Giving
Small Sacrifice. Big Impact.
Join us for our annual Day of Giving
to make an impact in the lives of
older adults and those who care for them.
It’s easy to spend $25 on dinner after a long day without thinking about it. But for an older adult in our community, just $9 provides one meal through Meals on Wheels at Benjamin Rose. That means something simple, like skipping one meal out, can make a real difference.
Last year, we delivered nearly 238,000 meals to older adults across our community. But the need exceeds our capacity. Right now, nearly 170 older adults are on our waiting list for not only meals, but the connection, care and peace of mind delivered with them.
On May 21, our Day of Giving, please help reduce, and ultimately eliminate, our Meals on Wheels waiting list by donating in honor of an older adult who impacted your life – a grandparent, parent, friend or neighbor whose shared insight still guides you today. When you give in their honor, you’re extending their impact to others who need help now.
Many donors choose to give the equivalent of one or more meals, because something small to you can mean everything to someone else.
Your impact has the potential to go even further, too; the first $2,500 donated during Giving Day will be matched by the Benjamin Rose Board of Directors.
Your gift – of any size – will help ensure more older adults receive the meals and support they need to live safely and with dignity at home.
A small sacrifice. A big impact.
Celebrate our Day of Giving
Our donors make it possible for older adults to rethink their aging journey. Consider making a donation to cover the cost of one or more of the meals provided to the older adults we serve!
Thank you for your continued support of our mission and dedication to those we serve.
