Benjamin Rose Kicks Off 2024 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program

CLEVELAND, OH - Benjamin Rose, a leading organization dedicated to supporting the aging population, is excited to announce the launch of its 2024 Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This program aims to provide valuable tax filing assistance to individuals in need, ensuring they receive their refunds promptly.

With the Benjamin Rose VITA program, individuals can receive assistance with filing their taxes and expect to receive their refunds in as little as two weeks. The program offers a convenient drive-up tax service at Benjamin Rose headquarters, allowing individuals to stay in their cars while IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers handle their tax filings. Spanish-speaking individuals will also be able to access this service.

To schedule an appointment, individuals can call 211 or visit https://www.refundohio.org/. The program will be available at various locations and times throughout the tax season. At Benjamin Rose Headquarters (11890 Fairhill Rd, Cleveland 44120), tax assistance will be provided on Tuesdays from 9am to Noon, Wednesdays from Noon to 3pm, Thursdays from 9am to 1pm, and Saturdays from 9am to 1:30pm on selected dates.

Additional locations include the Gunning Park Rose Center for Aging Well (16700 Puritas Ave, Cleveland, OH 44135) on Saturday March 3 from 10am to 3:00 pm, and the Lakeshore Rose Center for Aging Well (16600 Lakeshore Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44110) on Wednesday March 27 from 9am to 1pm.
