Free Community Fair Set to Showcase Local Resources for Older Adults and Caregivers

Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging hosting Triumph community fair with Cleveland partners

CLEVELAND, Ohio (August 1, 2023) - Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging will be opening their headquarters this Friday for a free community fair together with their local partners at Triumph: ESOP Celebrates You! All are welcome to attend and connect with available resources for older adults and their caregivers.

The fair follows a ticketed awards luncheon honoring the financial and housing achievements of Benjamin Rose clients who utilized services of Empowering and Strengthening Ohio’s People (ESOP) and Branches Real Estate. Both are programs offered by Benjamin Rose. Luncheon attendees will also hear from keynote speaker Richard Cordray, the first director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau & COO of Federal Student Aid for the U.S. Department of Education.

This year’s Triumph event coincides with the 30-year anniversary of ESOP, which was founded in 1993 by the late community organizer Inez Killingsworth. Since its inception, the mission of ESOP has transitioned from combating disreputable financial practices to providing individuals with the knowledge and tools to ensure financial wellness and housing stability.
